- Even CNN is noticing that gay issues are creeping in on Obama, who so far hasn't done too stellar in living up to his promises.
- Equality California starts to actually use real, live, gay people in their latest ads.
- Jon Stewart celebrates gay marriage win in Maine.
- A Santa Rosa family has caught Queerty's attention in chronicling their "normal" same-sex family life.

DADT teaches prejudice, and uses our tax dollars to do it. We will never reach full equality as long as our government continues to teach that it is not only acceptable but necessary to treat us as less than equal. Please, write, call, e-mail, or whatever you do, to Obama and your representatives. Repeal is a must, and the sooner the better. Feel free to use anything from this letter I sent to Obama today:
ReplyDeleteI am concerned about recent statements by your administration which indicate repeal is no longer a priority.
The only purpose served by DADT is to perpetuate the very prejudice is was designed to indulge. Repeal should be a priority as it uses our tax dollars to teach discrimination and prejudice.
As you said: "America is ready to get rid of the “don’t ask, don't tell” policy. All that is required is leadership.”
