Unity League monthly mixer, Mon, October 5

Has another month really almost passed? Yes, and that means it's pretty much October, and time for the next Napa Valley Unity League (whose mission is to enhance the sense of community for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgendered and Questioning (LGBTQ) citizens & their families, friends and allies) monthly mixer. At this month's meeting...

• Joey & Jeff from Poem Cellars will be pouring their wines and will spend a few minutes talking about their wines and their business
• We'll be collecting office supplies for "Change for Kids" - an organization that collects classroom supplies for teachers in the Napa Valley Unified School District
• We'll get an update on AIDS Walk Napa Valley 2009
• You can buy tickets for eat/drink/dance/walk! which takes place on Friday, October 16 and benefits AIDS Walk Napa Valley 2009

It all takes place at RiverPointe Napa Valley (500 Lincoln Avenue - 2nd floor of the Club House Building) from 6 to 8 pm

Cost? $5.00 suggested donation. Feel free to bring a bottle of wine, a 6 pack of beer, some soda and/or snacks to share.

All ages are welcome.
