Prop 8 upheld, 18,000 couples stay married: BREAKING NEWS; rally in Napa May 26,

Live from the internets:

The legality of Proposition 8 was upheld, so still...no more same-sex marriage in California. However, the Court ruled--as many expected--to also uphold the legal marriages of the 18,000 couples married during those 5 months last year. So congrats to the many who did get married.

There will be a rally and gathering tonight at 5:30p at Veteran's Park in Napa and in many places across California and the United States (even in Canada!).

Remember, wear black tonight, due to the mixed ruling.

  1. What bittersweet news. I will be at work during the rally but my heart is with those of you who will be out there. The fight isn't over yet!
