- Back a month or so, we told you that the Bush Administration wouldn't sign on to a condemnation of LGBT discrimination going through the U.N. Well now, the Obama Administration has stepped forward and reversed that standing.
- For the first time in school history,George Mason University has elected a drag queen as this year's homecoming queen.
- Minnesota's gay Republican Senator, Paul Koering, refused to vote for a gay marriage bill in his state, saying there are more important things to worry about.
- The Lutheran Church is mulling changes that would allow the ordination of gay and partnered clergy. Currently, the church only allows for celibate queer persons to be ordained.
- The Brazilian government is planning to hand out 65 million condoms during this month, a 20 million condom increase due to Carnaval. And I thought it was beads that were the give away.
The phone situation is ridiculous. People honestly think shit like that is not offensive? I'm glad people spoke out on that article.
