Howdy, Other Fruiters!Happy Martin Luther King, Jr. day! It's a beautiful, sunny day and I'm just about to head out on a nice Napa Valley bike ride. I was reading that today is also a day for community service and volunteering (Obama rolled up his sleeves and helped paint and make repairs at an emergency teen shelter). One good stereotype about us queers is our community involvement. BUT, I was taken by surprise by today's volunteer focus. I run a non-profit and didn't really know that's what was supposed to happen. (Maybe I didn't get the memo?)
