I think moms could rock the vote if more sons and daughters were brave enough to take the risk come out to them. My mom and I had a great (albeit tenuous) conversation the other day about Prop 8. She's a die-hard, traditional Catholic, but she's also wise and knows that things aren't as black & white as the Church would like us to think... She also knows she loves her son and doesn't think it makes sense or that it's fair to write discrimination against me into the State's Constitution. Go moms!

I do recognize it's not at all easy for some...
