More gays on TV? This time a gay wedding

Will you be watching tonight?

As if the 20/20 gay PDA episode and the sad and sensual military boyfriends on Grey's Anatomy weren't enough (they weren't), tonight there will be a gay wedding (technically, commitment ceremony) on ABC's Brothers & Sisters (Sunday, May 11, 10p).

Tonight's ceremony marks the first same-sex union between series regulars on American TV. Whether or not it's just a stunt to attract viewers (isn't all TV?), it is marking a growing trend towards realness and towards opening the rest of America's eyes to the fact that gays can love and feel and fail (and succeed, sweetly) just like the rest of America.
