From the gay reaches of the intertubes, direct to you, loyal readers of the Fruit:
- Locals, the Leffew family (of Santa Rosa) have been posting video blogs for a while now about what "normal" gay life is for them and their kids. This time they reenact the scandalous children's book, King and King, vilified in Prop 8 (and now in Washington and Maine's anti-gay campaigns). Their other videos are worth a watch as well.
- The Census Bureau can't quite figure out how to count same-sex married couples
- Army Secretary John McHugh says he's ready for a repeal of Don't Ask, Don't Tell
- Even the young gays want "traditional" relationships, according to a new study by University of Minnesota sociologists
- Judge demands that anti-gay Prop 8 backers must reveal strategic documents so we can see if any discriminatory bias was in their plans
- Kansas City Chiefs star running back, Larry Johnson, is suspended after calling reporters "faggots".
- Obama signs Matthew Shephard Act (federal LGBT hate crimes) AND Ryan White Act (HIV/AIDS funding and lifts HIV travel ban) in past week
- 25 years of gays on prime time TV and soaps
- Catholic Archbishop Anthony Apuron, of Guam, basically says that suicide bombers are better (less selfish) than married gays
