Ticket winner chosen: Out in the Park Six Flags, NewNowNext Concert w/ LMFAO, Paradiso Girls and DJs Perry Twins

We have a winner(!!) for our free-two-ticket-giveaway for Out in the Park (gay day) at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom which is this Friday night, September 11th. (Click here for more event details.)

I received lots of entries (many more than I was expecting) and appreciate them all. Seriously it's the interactivity I have been craving on this blog. I sifted through the best of the best (or at least the ones that caught my attention) and found the top ones to share with you all.

So, who's the best fruit (or friend of the fruit) in the Valley?

1st Place: I chose this winner because her entry felt real and honest. Congratulations, Chacaree!
Well, i believe i am the best fruit because I'm not afraid to admit it. And I came out to my mom at the age of 13. I, being a lesbian, am proud of it. I can care less what people think when my girlfriend and i kiss. I love my girlfriend so much and the feeling she gives me. And so what if people stare, they're not staring because it's two girls. They're jealous because we're so cute together and they wish they had a love like this. If a guy comes up to me, i don't studder or pause and think. I straight up tell him, that I'm gay. My favorite movie is Itty Bitty Titty Commitee. Lauren Mollica and Daniel Sea are the hottest things alive. I just love being with a girl. I love saying girlfriend, having a girl hold me, getting kisses from a girl, my girl and i laying on my bed together and just being with a girl.
Other top/favorite entries from the bunch sent in, include...

Runner up: Jesus took an ice-creamy approach which almost won my vote (he must know my love for sweets!).
Mmmm, look at all that sugar in the form of cold cream
Such a diverse assortment of flavors, makes me wanna scream!

Upon entering this incredible environment,
the tantalizing aroma makes me ready for retirement

You have mint-n-chip, pralines-n-cream, and strawberry
So painfully delicious, it's scary a la Carrie!

I love 'em all: Jamoca, Pineapple Coconut, even vanilla - it's okay,
It may seem a little plain, but can still me ya holla "Hooray!"

Alright, I'm gonna go there: CHOCOLATE ... What can I say, there's no other
First taste and you're hooked ... temptation is a mother!

Oh, and how 'bout el sabor, Dulce de Leche ... "Candied Milk"
Sounds a little odd in English ... Regardless, it melts into your soul like silk

Though I have my favorites I must remember to keep an open mind and not be afraid to try something new,
For I never know what flavor will make me yell, "Wew!"

Ooh, and I love the aspect of versatility, like these flavors as liquid - not just frozen hard
Cause you know a milkshake ... "Brings all the boys to the yaaaaard!"

Hell, one can even go international: French vanilla, or the subtle green tea
But don't be fooled by the "subtle" ... Have you had wasabi?!

Undoubtedly the beauty of these colors and flavors is that there are more to come
Thank you LIFE ... Let us celebrate and (responsibly) indulge on 31 Flavors... and then some
There are two other runners up, but I'm waiting for permission to publish their entries/photos.

So what do you think? Tickets are already given away, but did who would you have given the tickets to?
