Fixed It! Click through to Valley's Other Fruit now works

Okay. I think I fixed it. Users on Internet Explorer should be able to click through to the site and read our happy little local gay page again. (Please spread the word that the blog "works" now to those friends and gays of yours that had since given up!)

For the nerds that read the fruit (or the tech-curious), here was the problem. And, technically, I didn't "fix it", it's a temporary workaround. There's seems to be a bad interaction with something going on at Blogger servers and with Internet Explorer.

I'm an advocate of faster, safer, more fun browsers anyways, so try here to get away from old, slow, boring (and many times broken) Internet Explorer.

YES, you can click something else besides that blue "e" to get online!

Here are my browser faves:

    Dear Anonymous,

Last Thursday a U.S. District Court judge denied a request to give same-sex couples the freedom to marry while the challenge to Prop 8 is heard in federal court. The other side is calling this a huge victory in their attempt to forever keep same-sex couples from marrying in California.

We can’t wait for the Court’s final decision. We need to have conversations with Californians now about their stance on marriage. We know this is what makes a difference. Join us in going door to door talking to neighbors at our next outreach events. This weekend we have two opportunities to reach out to people door to door, including our first opportunity in the South Bay.

Talk to Bay Area neighbors door to door
Meet at the Oakland Coliseum BART stop by the ticket machines.
If you have a car, please bring it to carpool together.
    Sunday, July 12
    3 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Talk to South Bay neighbors door to door
    55 Glistening Ct., Milpitas
    Saturday, July 11
    10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

We also need lots of help in our San Francisco office in the Castro, including daytime office help and calling to recruit supporters every Tuesday and Wednesday evening. So far we have recruited almost 700 volunteers to take action – but we need your help to continue to build our team in the Bay Area.

On Tuesday, June 14, join us for a Get Engaged Tour stop where we will discuss polling and next steps with our coalition partners to win back marriage.

We’re going to win marriage back together. Please, join us.

    Warmly,
