Not sure what you were up to Saturday night, but "Prayers for Bobby" the "Red Carpet Premier Lifetime Event" aired. True to Lifetime's formula, it was both slightly sappy but also heartwrenching and sweet. If you did catch it, what did you think? Joe predicts a surge in PFLAG membership and admits shedding tears.
The local connection? It's based on a true story and Bobby and his family are from Walnut Creek, CA.

Just watched the movie on youtube last night. I was definitely a LifeTime movie, no getting around it, but I still really liked it. Kudos to Sigourney Weaver on an excellent performance, heartbreaking.
