Raid your pantry for equality (Join the Impact's National Food Drive)

It’s Napa County’s part in Join The Impact’s “National Food Drive for Equality”!

In the spirit of the holiday season, let's set aside our own struggles and needs, to demonstrate to our community, the nation and the world the collective power of the LGBTQ community and our friends to be a force of betterment for all society.

The purpose of this event is to demonstrate the positive impact that our community and our friends can make. Here’s what we’re going to do:

• Our groups and their members would donate non-perishable food items
• Our team will place a small sticker on each item saying “Donated by your gay/lesbian/bisexual neighbors and their friends” (in both English and Spanish)
• We’ll deliver the items to Napa County Food Bank facility.

It can't be easier to participate:

1. Just go to the wish list on Amazon.com at this URL: http://www.amazon.com/gp/registry/wishlist/3SB2YX3NAE6H4
2. Purchase one or more items (or even a gift certificate - we'll consolidate and choose the items for purchase for you.)
3. Have the item(s) shipped to the "Join The Impact - Napa County Gift Registry Address." That's it!

Then, we'll label the items and deliver them to the Napa County Food Bank.

Keep in mind - there is no shipping charge on any gift certificate or on purchases over $25.00!
Please place your order by DECEMBER 14, 2008 so it will arrive AND we’ll have time to deliver the food to the Food Bank before the holidays!
