After a long weekend of food, friends, family and --yuck--driving from town to town on a four-stop, tour-de-force of fiestas for Thanksgiving and my birthday, my boyfriend made me stay up until 12:45 am last night watching TV.
Yes, Britney Spears was on MTV, setting the facts straight (or at least getting her version out there) on her special, "Britney: For the Record".
My boyfriend swears it's going to be the gay watercooler conversation du jour.
He had to pick my jaw up several times during commercial breaks advertising Britney's new CD (or new perfume or new other product endorsement) just after she had broken down crying about how hard it is to be so famous. But us mere mortals probably wouldn't understand. I'm thinking that Justin Timberlake's song Cry Me a River is a much better title for her mocumentary. I know my eyes were rolling...but my boyfriend was enthralled.

That reminds me of the time I saw Titanic and it was at the moment where the magestic ship was being flooded and I had to pee SO BAD. My friend made me stay to watch it or I would miss "the good part." I told her I would miss my bladder more and sprinted for the door.
