GLAAD media awards tonight on (where else?) Bravo

If you're not going to the free concert in Veteran's Park tonight, (and/or if you're just a home-body) here's some alternate plans for you from the Detroit Free Press (and a loyal Fruit reader):
TONIGHT'S MIGHT-SEE: "GLAAD Media Awards" (7 p.m.) and "Brokeback Mountain" (2005, 9 p.m.), Bravo. First are highlights of awards by the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation.

GLAAD gave honors for TV drama ("Brothers & Sisters"), comedy ("Ugly Betty") and reality show ("Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List"), plus movies ("Stardust," "The Bubble") and more. Special awards went to Sharon Stone, Janet Jackson and Rufus Wainwright.

Then Bravo airs a previous GLAAD winner. "Brokeback Mountain" also had well-deserved Oscars for its director (Ang Lee), script and music, plus nominations for picture, cinematography and the superb work of the late Heath Ledger, Jake Gyllenhaal and Michelle Williams.
