We thought today, being International Labor Day and all, would be a good day to post about HRC's guide to workplace queer issues. They cover things like:

• Equal opportunity

One of the interesting reads we check yearly is the Buying for Equality guide. You can see which businesses support equality in the workplace (and those that don't) and choose to spend your daily dollars accordingly.

"Businesses are rated on a scale from 0 to 100 based on whether or not they have policies that support GLBT people. These include anti-discrimination protections, domestic partner benefits, diversity training, transgender wellness benefits and advertising practices."
