After posting about the Christian youth-TV-show host who came out publicly yesterday, it got me thinking about a great film I had seen which explored 5 families with gay/lesbian sons or daughters.
Has anyone else seen the film? What did you think of it?
Are there any gay-friendly churches in the Valley?

I've seen this film a few times actually, they had a screening here at work with the filmmaker talking about it afterwards. It's pretty moving! You can also buy it on amazon.com too. I got a copy for my BF and one for my parents too.
ReplyDeleteIt is very worth the rent or purchase, and I agree that it is informative, enlightening and moving. I like that the film focuses on the families and their journey towards acceptance, instead of just on the struggle of the individuals. I think that is what will make this more accessible to others who have gay/lesbian friends, siblings, etc.
